Cooking for the Firemen!

Once a month the New Paltz Fire Department has a Monday night meeting.  Seeing as they are firefighters and the meeting is around dinner time, there has to be food.  So, for every meeting there are designated food suppliers and David was designated to supply food for tonight.  That basically meant that I was baking brownies starting at 9:00 this morning and the two batches of baked ziti were finished and out of the oven by 3:30.  Of course, I couldn't make brownies and not have a batch for us.  Yeah, I've had a few.  All the ziti is for the firefighters.  I am hoping that there is enough left overs brought home for dinner tomorrow night 'cause it smells really good, but I don't feel like grating anymore cheese!

No knitting news right now.  It's time to clean the kitchen.  Then I have to figure out what's for dinner.
